Monday March 19th was Brooklyn's 4 year well check at the doctor. She weighs 35 pounds and is 40 inches tall and is in the 50th percentile on her weight and height. So, after she saw the doctor she was all smiles thinking it was time to go. Then the nurse walked on with the dredded shots. I had to explain to her that she was going to be getting shots and things went down hill from there. I really think that it is worse for them to get shots when they are older and aware of whats going on than when they are babies. It is the worst feeling having to hold down your kiddo while they are screaming and crying and totally aware of what is going on. But, the nurse was super fast and had sparkly band-aids to cover the boo-boos. The sparkly band-aids made everything better = )
