My Sweet Little Girl

Oh how I love this little girl!

Cabin Fever

So with all of these snow days and all of this free time that I have had at home, I have done a lot of crocheting. I had to do something to keep myself occupied while we watch all 3 of the Toy Story movies multiple times a day!

I haven't crocheted in a while and I wanted to make cute little hats. My mom and my grandmother taught me how to crochet, they are both very talented!

Well, as you can see she was done with the modeling thing ; )

Snow Day 5......Really???

So, for those of you who don't live around here I am sure that by now you have heard about the Monster Snow storm that we got 2 weeks ago. We basically got A LOT of snow in a very short amount of time. I was planning on going to work on Wednesday. The weathermen were only predicting 5-7inches.....they were wrong! This is what we woke up to at about 7am...this is our back porch.

About an hour later....

Around noon...

Jason's truck.

Front porch when we woke up.

A few hours later.

Well, this is how deep the snow was. Isn't she she cutest measuring stick that you have ever seen??

When the weather is really bad we let the dogs in and at night we let them stay in the laundry room. So, our day started out relaxing and around 10am Jason wanted to let the dogs out for a while, but he had to clear them a path on the back porch. He and the dogs went outside and I was getting Brooklyn dressed to go outside to. I got her dressed and called for Jason to come and get her but I couldn't find him. So, I walk to the front and see him in the road yelling at the dogs.....the dogs are in the road too running away from him! So they ran off and I had one very mad husband. He cleared his truck and went to look for them. After his third try he finally found them. They were only about a mile from the house in a subdivision half passed out from running too much. The snow was so deep it went over Bella's head ( I have pictures of that too). Jason had to pick them up and put them in the back of the truck because they were so tired.

Where's Bella???

So, finally after the chaos Brooklyn got to go outside and play.

It's A Boy!!

I am still not completely caught up with this blog (I never am) so this post is out of order, but I couldn't wait! Despite the weather that we have had this week, my sister still got to go to her ultrasound appointment yesterday and she found out that she was having a boy! We all knew that all along....We are soo excited! They are planning on naming him Jaxen Lee Hanna and she is due June 26th.

Snow Day 3 & 4

This is the snow/ice storm that we got on Feb. 1st. The bad thing about this storm is that we got rain/sleet/and then snow. So the roads were really bad. Jason only worked half a day on Tuesday and I didn't go in at all. I didn't go in Wednesday either, but Thursday I was ready to go back to work and I drove. I was quite proud of myself too because I DON'T drive in this stuff.

So Tuesday afternoon, Jason and Brooklyn went outside for only about 10 minutes...it was tooo cold.

I love this picture!

My little helper....so on the days that I don't go to work and we aren't on a schedule I usually have a little helper in the bathroom. She gets into everything too. So, to keep her out of my makeup, I fixed her up some of my old makeup that she can play in, but she can only use it when I am getting ready. No, I don't leat her leave the house like this, although one Sunday I didn't quite get all of the powder off of her face and didn't realize it until after church.....

She is very creative with her makeup too.

Enjoying the Short Lived Warm Weather

I took Brooklyn up to Hunt Park the last Saturday that the weather was absolutely beautiful. Jason was playing golf and I felt awful (later to find out that I had a sinus infection and ear infection) but I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather because I knew that it wouldn't last long. I took her tricycle to ride and of course my camera. There is a horse barn up there that stayed even after the park was built, a great backdrop for pics. The picture above is my favorite. It is crazy how much this child looks like me!

Oh how I love this little girl!

Fast Lanes

A few weeks ago the Pianaltos invited us to go to Fast Lanes with them. We gladly excepted so we could get out of the house!
