Playtime with Daddy

Brooklyn LOVES to play with her baby dolls. She is so funny too. She will line them up in a straight line and cover them with a blanket and give them each a bottle. Occasionally one will not go to sleep or "bite" another baby and she will have to send them to time out. She seems to have some trouble makers.

Well, Jason just happened to be in the kitchen when he was instructed that he had to lay down in her floor and she was going to cover him up with SEVERAL blankets. He had to lay there, no talking or moving or he would get into big trouble. This went on for about 20 minutes.
After she got all of her babies ready (and daddy) she read to them.

Daddy looks so happy....

Brooklyn & Nataleigh

A few weeks ago my cousin Casey brought Nataleigh up to visit and have lunch at my parents house. My mom has a play room at her house which is pretty much where they stayed the entire time.

Cinderella's Trick or Treating Ball

For Halloween this year I thought Brooklyn would be an adorable Cinderella...and she was of course ; ) She is really into the Disney Princess's right now and she especially likes Cinderella. So before the Trick or Treating Festivities begun it was picture time and you can see in the pictures below how much she loved her mommy taking pictures of her. ha-ha

She'd rather play with the pumpkins......

Every princess needs a Magic Wand!

She was probably trying to cast a spell on me.

Then, time for a quick bike ride.

Still not interested in the picture taking.

Then it was daddy's turn for a picture.....

Looks like she is trying to cast a spell on her daddy too.

Well, after all of that excitement my little Cinderella turned into a Cranky Cinderella. So we came in the house for a few minutes to watch some cartoons and then we headed to nonni and papa's for some trick or treating.

We made a stop at Amy's house on the way to my parents and she hooked Cinderella up with a sweet goody bag full of candy. Well, when we got to my parents it was time for more pictures but Cinderella was happy she had a bag full of candy.

She really looks sooooo excited.

The first house that we went to Brooklyn was scared walk up to the house because the couple was dressed up and she was scared of the guy. So the lady ( a bright pink crayon) brought some candy out to Brooklyn.

She found what she wanted in her pumpkin so now it was mommy's turn to hold it.

Time for more candy!!!

Once she figured out that you got candy when you walked up to the houses, she really got into it.

And of course every princess needs her Royal Carriage. Since we did a lot of walking we thought she would like to ride in her car and this gave her time to eat more candy.

Happy Halloween!!

Silly Brooklyn

Trying on her new glasses that she got at her Halloween Party.
It has been a very long week! I am hoping next week will be better. But no matter what kind of day I have, her little face will always make me smile!
She is such a chatter box now. She is talking all of the time and asking lots of questions. She told her daddy to "shutup" the other day. Jason and I just looked at each other in shock. We are really trying to watch what we say now, her ears are a little sponge right now. She also has a lisp when she talks, it is really cute too. She loves watching her cartoons (sounds like tartoons??), her favoorite show is The Fresh Beat Band on Nick Jr.. She will sing and dance to that show and sometimes she insists that daddy and I participate in the singing and dancing. We love you Brooklyn!!!
