Dance Class - Halloween Style

 This week was a very special week in dance, the teacher let them wear their Halloween costumes and for a 3 year old that is a VERY big deal.  I think they should wear some sort of costume every week because the seem to have a longer attention span in class ; )

November 28th!

This is a day that we (especially Jason) have looong awaited!  That day will be Jason's LAST day of classes!!!!  He has 5 more weeks and is taking 2 classes so he will be SUPER busy, but we are so ready for him to done.  Just had to brag and let everyone know I am very proud of him for this great accomplishment!

Last Saturday night, my parents watched Jaxen while Mindy and Jeremy had a "date night".  So I took the opportunity to get some pictures of Brooklyn and Jaxen.  I took lots of pictures, but these were my favorites.....

The Pumpkin Patch

Well, fall is apon us which means it is time for a trip to the pumpkin patch. 


But first mommy needed a picture of my adorable little pumpkin.

Then it was time to pet the baby goats,

then a ride on the cow train,

isn't he adorable ; ).

While they were taking a ride, I made a friend.

And then on to the  pumpkin patch to find the "Great Pumpkin"......

So many to choose from.

Finding the perfect one.  She wanted little pumpkins or the "Jack be Little's" as they called them.

And finally, a walk through the corn maze.

After a trip to the pumpkin patch, we let her put the pumpkins where ever she

wanted and this was where she wanted them.

Dinner Time Drama

One thing that is definite about my little girl; she has a temper!  At least at home she has one, at school she is the exact opposite and I am told that she is an angel and always does what she is told.   I am VERY thankful for that.  But for some reason dinner time is always a challenge.  She either doesn't like what we are having, doesn't want to eat, isn't hungry, the list could go on.  So, the other night when she was having a meltdown I got out the camera so that I could remind her when she is older of what a lovely little temper that she had.

This picture is PRICELESS!  Her red face really brings out those pretty blue eyes ; )

Brooklyn's Toys or Daddy's??

Cars.  Brooklyn has had a few "stray" cars around the house for a while.  I am not really sure where they came from, possibly a birthday party or two.  But, a few days ago she found those cars in her room and has been playing with them a lot.  Well, anytime Brooklyn shows interest in a "boy's toy" daddy becomes a kid too.  And then more and more of those "boy toys" start showing up.  For instance the car collection that started with 2 and now has grown to about 50.  And the big orange race track that appeared in my living room one day.  A similar situation happed with her legos.  She started with 2 basic sets of legos and then all of the sudden we have star wars lego men, ninja lego men, police lego men to name a few.  I know Brooklyn didn't walk into Wal-Mart and pick those out.  I do think that they need more "girly" lego sets.  But regardless of what toy it is, I think that it's cute to see Jason in the floor racing cars with Brooklyn.
