The Monster Mash at Dance Class!

This week the kiddos got to wear their Halloween costumes to dance class.  This year, B wanted to be Rapunzel or "Punzel" as she calls it.
Love Mrs. Sarah!  She is soooo good with the kids.

Perfect Weather for a Hayride!

Last Saturday we went over to the Pianaltos for a hayride and potluck.  We had such a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect!  It has been a while since we have all been together.

"More Than A Nichols Worth"

Tonight while Brooklyn was watching cartoons before bed I was looking around on the internet and found a great blog with a very uplifting story.   In my last post about me I had mentioned that I had read an article in Celebrate Magazine about Joe Nichols wife Heather and her struggle with having 5 miscarriages.  She has a blog = ) telling her story, so I thought I would share.  www.morethananicholsworth.com

Pinsperation

I absolutely LOVE pinterest!  I am addicted!!!  I have found and tried so many things from this site.  Most of them have turned out awesome and a few have been not so awesome.  So, I had a bare wall in the hallway outside of Brooklyn's room that I wanted to do a photo collage.  I had 3 frames that I wanted to use, but they didn't match or go well together, so I painted them turqoise (I love this color) and made them look old.  One of the frames I wanted to use the verse above in.  I looked on pinterest for a subway art style with this verse, but everything I found I had to buy.  So, I made it myself.  I got the chevron pattern from a pin that had a ton of different chevron patterns that you can download (most were for PS though).  I have PS Elements at home, so I took the pattern and created the text like I wanted...all of this was free = )

Fun on the Farm

A few Sundays ago we drove to my cousins house in Ozark for a lunch.  We have not all gotten together in years.  Before my great aunt and uncle passed away (they were grandparents to me) we did this all of the time.  I have so many wonderful memories with my cousins and now it is so crazy that we all have kids (some have grand kids!) and they play together now.

My cousin Bridget's husband has a turkey farm, and this was a funny experience for these to little girls.  After lunch we walked down to the turkey houses and the closer you got the more they stunk!  They thought is was better to stick a finger in each nostril to get rid of the stink....

That is A LOT of turkeys and he has 4 of these houses!

My cousin Bridget (she looks so cute with braces), me, my cousin Cindy (with a bun in the oven), my cousin Casey (with Allison who did NOT want to be in the picture), and my cousin Faith.  We were just missing Mindy and Holly and the posse would have been complete.

Chuck E. Cheese with Peanut

Way back on Labor Day (yes  I am that far behind..haven't been in a blogging mood lately) we took Jaxen to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time.  He was in total awe.  Of course at his age tokens are are waste of everyones time and money, he just wanted to walk around and touch all of the germ infested games with bright flashing buttons.  We only stayed for an hour (thankfully) that place is too crazy, but we still had a great time with the kiddos.

B's Artwork

Some of B's artwork over the last several months.  I can't keep all of it, so I just TRY to photograph all of it.  Most of this is from Mrs.Michelle's class at school, some of these she did at church too.
