Lil Razorback Rocker

My mom bought this rocking chair last summer at a garage sale. She is a garage sale queen, if you need something she can find it! Anyway, it was just stained and I have wanted to paint it, but never had the opportunity. Well, when I found out that I was having a nephew ( and his daddy is a HUGE Razorbacks Fan!) I wanted to paint a "Razorback themed" rocker. This little rocker took 4 cans of spray paint!

Bubbles

Not only does my 3 year old love bubbles, but my 2 dogs LOVE to chase bubbles. They go crazy, you have to be careful because they will knock you down for bubbles.

Mommy to Be

Sunday April 10th we had lunch at my parents house to celebrate my dad's birthday (which was the 8th). While we were there I wanted to get some pics of my sister, but since it was soooo windy it didn't go as planned. I did still get a few pics of her just around their house. The one above is my favorite. I did adjust it a bit though.

Jeremy & Mindy (and soon to be Jaxen)

Brooklyn was not a happy little girl because she could be in the pictures, it was also nap time.....

Brooklyn's Work

It is impossible to keep everything that Brooklyn brings home from school. I try to take pics of a lot of what she brings home and keep some of her cutest work.
Definately a keeper!

Learning colors.

Spanish

Tracing Numbers

Letters

Her lion mask

Lamb mask

Owl mask

Only a 3 year old could think of this = )

She even brings home artwork from church.

Brooklyn's Daycare

Everyday Brooklyn gets a "cuddle gram" from daycare, basically tellling information about what she ate/times she ate/when she went to the restroom, etc. Well, we CANNOT throw her cuddle grams away because she uses them for "her Daycare"....Brooklyn's absolute favorite toys are her baby dolls. They are pretty much all she plays with. My mom has made her a bunch of little fleece baby blankets and each baby has a specific blanket and bottle. She lays each baby down in the living room floor and covers them with a blanket and gives them a bottle. The also have bathroom times and timeout. It is really funny to watch her interact with her baby dolls, she gets serious! What is really funny is that she has named each baby with the kids names from her class.

See the music player on the pink basket, they also have music time.

She hasn't gotten them lined up yet, they are still in a pile from us cleaning them up from the day before. I think she prefers the living room because she has more floor space for her babies, so my living room pretty much always looks like a disasater. Oh well, they are only little once.

Feeding a baby.

Golf Season

Well, golf season is officially back in "full swing" for the Fields Family. Last weekend Jason had the golf cart home for one of his many golf tournaments. Brooklyn had a blast riding with daddy in the golf cart.
Jason could NOT drive onto the golf course with a dirty golf cart, so Jason and Jason Jr. (so much like her daddy in some ways!) washed the golf cart.

Hard at work...

52 Days To Go!

Only 52 more days until Destin = ) I cannot wait! It has been way toooo long since I have seen a beach. The last time I was at the beach was for a work trip and we spent half a day at the Beach...Virgina Beach and it wasn't that impressive. Another reason that I cannot wait to go, Jason and I have never been to the beach together! We have been married 7 1/2 years and never been to the the beach. And most importantly, I cannot wait to see the look on my little girls face when she sees the beach for the first time! We going with Candace, Jon and Malyn. Malyn and Brooklyn are 11 months apart and I think that they will have a blast together. I can't wait!!!!

Playing Games

For Christmas this year Brooklyn got a couple of learning games. She especially likes the memory games, she calls them "match" games.
She didn't want me to take anymore pictures....

Toddler Knees

I just had to put a picture of her bruised little legs, this is pretty much what her little legs look like all of the time. These are the legs of a typical little toddler who loves to play outside! I think it is funny that on her cuddle gram that she gets from school everyday, they write down that she has bruises on her legs, that should just be a given for any toddler! And now that the season for wearing shorts is upon us, this just means more scrapes and scratches to add the the poor little bruises.

Date with Nonni & Papa

A few weeks ago my parents took Brooklyn to eat with them and let Jason and I go have a date night at Crabby's (our favorite). So of course my child had to put on her finest jewels for the occasion. She was quite proud of how she looked too.

Puppy Love

My little girl LOVES our dogs. And I have to say that they adore her too. Despite their size, they are just big teddy bears. I think Brooklyn likes them so much because she can love on them, pet them, basically do whatever she wants and they don't care.

Now the cat is another story. That is more of a love/hate relationship...When Brooklyn was born I was worried about how Daly would react with a baby. He was never a problem. However the problem began when Blondie became mobile. She is not the one I worry about, it is the cat that I worry about. She soooo badly wants to hold, pet and love the cat and he will let her until the petting becomes more like a slap and then he will normally hiss at her and run off and then she will get super mad at him and chase him around the house.....Poor Cat.
