Halloween Party

Friday was Brooklyn's Halloween party at school. I took off work for a MUCH needed "me day" and also to go to her party.

I made mini cupcakes and my mom had gotten the treat buckets from McDonald's and filled them with treats for the kids. My mom is so awesome, I don't know what I would do without her!

Their treats for the party.

It's party time! I felt kinda bad because I didn't bring Brooklyn's costume, but I know how my child eats and I knew her costume would be nasty. She didn't care that she didn't have hers though, she had just woken up from her nap so she still wasn't totally awake yet anyway.

A Visit from Malyn

Last weekend Candace, Jon, Malyn and Mimi came to visit. I am soo glad everyone came. It was so much fun watching the 2 little girls play together.

The weather was so nice and the girls got a lot of play time outside.

She's Making Her List!

Today I got a Melody's Choices Christmas toy catalogue in the mail. I gave it to Brooklyn to look at, she looked at that thing for at least 20 minutes and for her that was a long time. It was too funny. She kept pointing at things asking me what they were and telling me whether or not she liked them. So, I went and got a pen and paper and told her to make out her Christmas list and she did of course.

She was hard at work.

The list.....

The Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday my Parents and I took Brooklyn to the Ozark Corn Maze in Cave Springs. This place was too fun and SUPER busy. Not only did they have a pumpkin patch, they a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch, they had a corn maze in the shape of a razorback, a corn canon thing, a little petting area with goats and pigs, and the super cute cow train.

My very excited 2 year old with her nonni and papa.

Petting the goats.

My dad volunteered to ride the train with her.

Then we were off to the pumpkin patch.

It's Tough Being 2!

Just thought I would post some pics of Brooklyn's lovely little temper tantrums. She really likes to add the drama by lying in the floor and kicking and screaming. The picture above is a typical Sunday morning for us, they are very exhausting!

The last few weeks have been a little rough on my kiddo though. Two weeks ago, she had the stomach virus that was going around. SOOOOO nice now that she is potty trained!!! Then the next week she had an ear infection but I took her to the doctor early enough that it wasn't too bad. And on top of all of that she is cutting her 2 year molars.
