Another Saturday Night in T-Town....

A Date with Daddy

Last weekend Brooklyn got to go on a date with daddy.  I think it is good for Jason to spend some time with B (away from the house and not with mommy), which means mommy gets some free time at home. = )  She got to pick where she wanted to go so they went to play miniature golf and went to Fast Lanes.  I also let her pick out what she wanted to wear and she picked her tutu skirt of course.

It is crazy how much this child looks like me when I was this age!

Happy 4th (2011)

For the 4th (actually the 3rd) we went to my aunt and uncle's house to watch fireworks.  B loved the sparklers and it was a good thing because she had a ton of them!

When they started to do the BIG fireworks, she held her ears but she liked to watch them.

But her favorite thing was to pet the kitty.

Little Fish

Last weekend Brooklyn and I went to my parents neighborhood pool to swim.

I got her a "puddle jumper" and she loved it.  They are the coolest things to.  She is definetly more confident with it in the water.

She was little miss independent in the pool.

My Hobby

In my spare time (what little that I have) I love to paint, sew.....do just about anything creative.  It is relaxing to me.  Last year, just for fun, I started painting frames and ended up selling a lot of them to co-workers, teachers that my sister works with, friends, and family.  After several requests, I have decided to post some of the stuff that I have done on this blog for anyone to buy or request a special order.  I am still not sure how I want to do this, if I want to start another blog (not sure I have the time for that) or just post stuff to this blog when I make something new.  So for the time being, if you see something that you like just send me an email @ sfields315@gmail.com .

The next few pictures below are something that I created just a few weeks ago.  Basically I wanted a magnet board for my cubicle at work to display lots of pics.  But, I didn't want some generic store bought one, I wanted something that reflected my personality.  So, after some researching the internet and local craft stores I created what I wanted.  The picture (not a great picture) is the one that I made for work.

These next few phots are items that I currently have for sale.

A New/Used Set of Wheels

My little girl is growing up too fast and she has outgrown her tricycle. I wanted to get her a 12" bicycle, but I didn't want to buy a new one because this a something that she will outgrow quickly.  So my mom (being the garage sale queen that she is), I put her on a mission to find a cute pink bike for B.  And the first time that she looked, she found 2 and she only paid $5 each for them.  The second one is for her house.  Jason took her to pick out a helmet and she picked out a pink barbie helmet of course.
She looks so big on this bike.

It was love at first site when she saw it!  She is sooo proud of it and loves to ride.

She is still getting the whole "braking" thing.  She will get to going fast and then freak out because she can't stop.
Little B you are growing up too fast!
