Ready to Drive

At least that is what she thinks. Jason had his golf cart at home this weekend for a golf tournament that he played in. And of course Brooklyn thought that it was hers. Jason kept her Friday night and this is what they did. They got to sit in the golf cart and "pretend" drive.

Sundays

On Sunday afternoons, Brooklyn and I go to my parents so that Brooklyn can have her quality "papa time". Usually on Sunday mornings our way to church she starts telling us that she wants to see papa.

With the weather being so nice, we went down to the park.

She loved sliding down this slide.

Running away from mommy.

The Tontitown Boys

Remember this picture?? I posted this in August 2008. They have grown sooo much!

Now look at them! We tried to get them to lay neatly in a row like we had them in the previous picture and this was as close as we got.

Didn't last long. They had more important things to do like chase bubbles.

So Colby had Brooklyn's yellow spray bottle (which for some reason was a VERY popular item with them) and he would spray himself in the face and then he would spray Brooklyn. She thought that was very funny too.

Now it was Colby's turn to spray himself in the face.

Blowing bubbles (or "bubbies" as Brooklyn calls them)

Colby always has the best expressions.

Beatlemania Part 2

A necessity in my child's wardobe...a Beatles shirt. She grew out of her first one a while back so nonni and papa got her a new one in Vegas. Did you notice that she is actually sitting and smiling for me?? I am sure that part of that is because I let her sit on the coffee table.

Back to being Brooklyn!

Easter Sunday

My little Easter Bunny. We got up Sunday morning and went to church. Why are Sunday mornings so difficult? We get up and get ready to go to work or whatever 6 other days of the week, but Sundays are always the worst! I not only have to get a 2 year old ready, but I feel like I get to get my husband ready too, it's very exhausting! Anyways...after church we went to my parents for lunch and then an Easter Egg Hunt.

I didn't have much time get get pictures of Brooklyn in her Easter Dress, she was headed straight for the DIRT, so I had to work fast!

After lunch, we headed outside for the Easter Egg Hunt. It is so much fun having a little around that is old enough to find Easter Eggs. We haven't done this in sooo long.

Her first find!

Taking a breather....she was a very busy little girl!

Searching with her great grandmother.

She didn't want to wait to go inside to start in on the candy. So, Brooklyn and Jason shared some on the driveway.

Behind As Usual!

I am very behind on updating pictures!! It is impossible to do this while Brooklyn is awake because she wants to help me and if I don't let her help then she throws a GINORMOUS fit. And when she is in bed, Jason is usually on the laptop and desktop doing homework. I am thinking that mommy needs her own laptop = ) I still have a ton of pictures to update, but I am tired and hopefully will get to this tomorrow night.

2 Year Pictures

On Brooklyn's Birthday, I took her to get her 2 year pictures taken. I took off and we spent the day together. My mom also took off too, which I was VERY grateful because taking Brooklyn to get her pictures taken is now a 2 person job! Brooklyn was impossible!! I always get her pictures done at JCPenny's. So, one of us would be on the floor with her trying to get her to cooperate and the other would stand by the door so she couldn't run out. She did escape a few times...and so we had to chase a barefooted girl in a pink tutu running through Penny's. But, I guess the fact that they don't cooperate is what makes their pictures at this age sooo cute. The picture above is my favorite. Her little crooked smile...that is sooooo her!

This one turned out cute too. You may notice that there is a ring on her left hand. That is my mom's wedding ring. We were using anything that we could think of to make her sit there and smile!

This picture shows those cute dimples = )

This was my moms favorite picture.

Party with Her Peeps

On Saturday March 26th we had a Birthday Party for some of Brooklyn's Buddies. We got a cookie cake for the party (with Elmo of course).

The Birthday Girl rockin her new Elvis shirt that nonni & papa got for her in Vegas.

Mr. Colby....always full of personality = )

Jackson & Brooklyn preferred the outdoors with the dogs.

And of course Austin in "his car". At least that is what he was telling the other kiddos.

The Little Divas

Brooklyn hangin with Rhett.

Opening presents....Brooklyn had lots of help.

Cake time....daddy said that they could do this and they had a blast.

My messy little girl.
