Gone to the Beach!

That's right friends! Today we are headed to the beach!!! I cannot tell you how ready I am for this trip.  It has been a tough year and this is a MUCH NEEDED vacation.  Praying for good weather and great times with friends and family!

Little Olympians

  A few weeks ago, Brooklyn's school had a parade to celebrate the Olympics.  They decorated t-shirts and made some cute props for their parade.

Dance Pictures: May 2012

We got these in the mail last week.  Brooklyn's first year of dance pictures.  It turned out to be such a great experience for her, she can't wait for her second year to start in September!

Family Pictures: July 2012

We haven't had family pictures taken since Brooklyn was 1, so I figured it was time have some taken.  I had seen Jessica Ritchie's work (http://jessicaritchiephotography.com/) on FB and fell in love!  I booked them in May and they were scheduled for July 5th, before we knew that July was going to be triple digits temps! Since she is the professional, I let her choose the location and she chose Dickson Street.  So, despite the insane heat pictures turned out great.  Brooklyn was even a trooper!
